Is there much water in the Murray River?

Despite media reports of water restrictions across much of Australia the River Murray still has good water levels in Echuca/Moama. The Murray River, as rivers do, goes through periods of drought and flood.
The Murray River is fed by several rivers on it’s journey from the Australian Alps including the Darling. The Darling River however joins the Murray 880kms at Wentworth, therefore it has no effect on River Levels here.
FACT: There is plenty of water for our authentic paddlesteamers as they only require 3ft to operate.
